For the tenth anniversary of the creation of the Kiteboard Pro World Tour, the 2008
season will open the show in Saint-Gilles Croix de Vie, Vendée, France.
Unique French stage of the 2008 circuit, Saint-Gilles Croix de Vie welcomes the caravan
of the KPWT for the third consecutive year.
In order to celebrate the support of this beautiful city and the great conditions of an
exceptional spot, the Kiteboard Pro World Tour has gathered an amazing international
tray. The 49 riders entering the Vendée Kitesurf Pro come from all around the world and
represent more than 15 different nationalities.
In order to optimize each single second of these outstanding weather conditions, the first
skippers meeting took place first time in the morning. At 7am, the organization team and
all competitors went in the water and launched the race.
Strong on shore wind picking up to 35 knots, freezing cold water and unstable rain …
nobody will forget this first day of competition !
